We know how important it is to keep your RevAir in top condition, and that’s why our Exhaust Filters are here to help. These filters cover the air outlets on your RevAir base unit, providing extra noise suppression and air filtration during every Reverse-Air drying session. Whether you have the Original RevAir with one filter on the back or the New RevAir with two smaller filters on the sides, we’ve got you covered.
Our Exhaust Filters are designed to enhance your RevAir experience by:
- Reducing noise during operation for a quieter drying session.
- Filtering air to keep your device running efficiently.
- Protecting your RevAir from dust and debris buildup.
Over time, your Exhaust Filters may need cleaning to maintain optimal performance. Here are some signs it’s time to clean them:
1. You notice less tension (suction) on your usual setting.
2. The wand feels hotter than normal.
3. Your hair results aren’t as sleek and silky as usual.
4. The wand heat shuts off during use, even after reducing section size.
We recommend cleaning your Exhaust Filters once a month to keep your RevAir in great shape. Here’s how:
Simply pinch the sides of the filter and gently pull it out of its housing in the base unit.
Blow off any dust and rinse the filters with warm (not hot) water. Avoid wringing, squeezing, or twisting them. Gently shake out excess water and let them air dry on a cloth or paper towel.
Once completely dry, insert the filters back into the base in their original orientation. Pinch the sides and press them back into place.
It might be time to replace your Exhaust Filters if:
- They show signs of damage.
- You want to have a spare set on hand for use between cleanings.
